this year, we had thanksgiving at my house. my friends and i started cooking at 3 pm, re-enacted the family fights that break out during every important holiday by yelling at each other at around 9 pm, and started eating at 9:30. dinner was done at 9:55. i had 2 helpings.
during dinner, we each had to say something that we were thankful for but no one could repeat. i won b/c i said friends and family first. suckers.
after dinner, some of us wanted to go for a walk. we made it half a block away from our place before turning back because we were cold. wimps.
i don't know what i learned from all this except that 1) hosting a thanksgiving makes me feel like a real a-dult, 2) home alone is a great movie that never gets old even after a 24 hour marathon, and 3) i definitely suggest cooking turkey in a bag. it makes the meat so juicy and tender.
also, nice background. i haven't blogged in a while and it had me scerrrd.
