first day of school

today, i feel purple. so font, you will be purple.

so i had my first day of school today. classrooms are just like high school, its a little bizarre...

i was lost looking for the building, and asked a local "where is this building?". she said "you're here." dumb moment.

walked into a classroom full of boys. i think there was only one guy who didn't wear glasses. and they looked at me as if they've never seen a female before. you know that awkward scenario when everyones talking and goofing off, and all of a sudden everyone stops talking to look at you? well, yeah that was it. so i walked around awkwardly, pretty sweaty, confused, for a seat that looked the least intimidating. haha, "cool clique" sat in the back. why am i not surprised? a few girls eventually trickled in but they were really quiet and wouldn't talk to anyone. like pullin' teeth. teacher was pretty awesome, threw in some political jokes. i understood everything he said, but it was really just reading that i couldn't handle. he writes all his notes on the board, and in casual style, so they all looked like japanese characters.

anyway, pointless anecdote because it is now a dropped class. prof said he wouldn't make any exceptions because of my lack of ability to read chinese, hahaha. yeaaaah.
