oh hallo hallo

yay brandy! thanks for the setup. and i want to come to LAAA i crave in-n-out.

being a TA sounds like fun. im thinking about doing it when i go back to maryland, maybe english 101 or sociology 100? i duno, still have to decide. let us knowwww how it goes i'd love some insight!

life here is kind of weird cause i have to plan a lot of things for the spring...i.e. where should i live? do i want to drive? do i want to buy a car? decisions, decisions....and fall semester hasn't even started. (it will monday.)

dorms--building C kinda stinks! it's filled with more international students than locals, so it's a flashback to freshman year. loud TMI hallway convos, tripping drunktards, the sorts.. oh the worst part, we get no sunlight from the first floor because of the shrubs and bikes, so everyday's a rainy day. and people peek in. a lot of the exchange students are from california haha! hardly any east coasters boOOoo. im sure vic would be happy about that one too with his east west battles. BUT! its all good, my roommate is from HK so we have to speak mandarin 24/7...good practiceee

butttt my classes seem to be cool. i have a class on mainland-taiwan relations. i hear NTU is biased (in being uber blue) so it'll be interesting to see how they teach this course. what elseee, what else.... going to take chinese on the 2nd floor... and then another course on technology in taiwan. we'll be venturing out to site visits and seeing latest inventions/developments on this little island. and the course im looking forward the most... onsite/offsite class of teaching in taiwanese high schools. the students have a pretty poor work ethic here so i want to hear from the teachers' POV how they cope.

kpang will be back in a week.
and, sam may be back for the fall! so it'll be me, kpang, and sam left to live up all your taiwan desires. will take any requests :)

lastly, i leave you with this.
